“As if it’s not hard enough to include fruits in your diet. Now you have to watch for fraudulent food.”

This.

Normally, I would read an article about avoiding over processed junk and think the author was a really hoopy frood.

I wouldn’t expect that a major newspaper would publish a line this dumb. Thing is, including fruit in your diet is pretty easy. You go to the store, buy fruit, and eat it.

That’s about as complicated as it gets. Unless you buy bananas or oranges. You have to peel those bastards! The horror!

This drives me almost as crazy as the ads for those sugar laden V-8 fusion drinks. You want more veggies in your diet. Man up and eat a damn salad. I know people who can drag them selves though hour after hour of hell on earth treadmilling but don’t eat right because they don’t like vegetables unless they come coated in ranch.  You’ve got the discipline to put up with the most boring activity known to man, but you can’t manage to eat some broccoli? V-8 markets those damn juices to adults like they shouldn’t be ashamed of wimping out of eating right.

You eat more vegetables. Just eat them. How? Put them in your mouth. Chew. Swallow. Repeat. Eventually you’ll grow to like, or even just tolerate them better.

Back to fruit. They sell whole unprocessed fruit at Gas stations in the rural backwater of Tulsa, Oklahoma. I can only imagine what they have in L.A. Buy fruit. Eat it. Don’t eat muffins that come in cellophane with a sell buy date. You’ll never have to worry about fake blueberries that way.

It’s not hard to include fruits and veggies in your diet. You’re just a wimp.
